The Archbishop of Santa Fe, Monsignor Sergio Fenoy, signed the decree to begin the process of beatification and canonization of Cecilia María, whose life’s testimony has had a great impact. Born in San Martín de los Andes, province of Neuquén, Cecilia María found herself called to the convent of the Discalced Carmelites in Santa Fe, where she was renamed Cecilia María de las Andes.

“She was always a very happy, warm, approachable, welcoming person.
