Acuña gave a press conference this Thursday accompanied by leaders of the APP at the national level by Jesús María, in a context in which they seek to promote a motion of censure against the president of the Parliament, Eduardo Salhuana, a member of his party political.

This motion is based on criticism of the lack of initiatives to promote the clarification of the facts related to this alleged network of pimps that came to light after the murder of the former parliamentary employee, Andrea Vidal, at the hands of assassins in December 2024.

“Ask the prosecution to take as priority number one what is happening in the Congress of the Republic. While it is true that there are many issues in the prosecutor’s office, for the image of the country and the image of the Congress, APP requests and demands that the prosecutor’s office and justice investigate because it must be clarified as soon as possible. You cannot damage the image of a party because of third parties“, he affirmed.
