Through the decision of the National Prosecutor’s Office No. 001-2025-MP-FN, published in the Bulletin of Legal Standards of the Official Gazette El Peruano, was appointed the specialized senior prosecutor against organized crime in Lima. Fanny Quispe Farfnas a substitute for Chvez Cotrin.

“To appoint, in addition to her functions, lawyer Fany Soledad Quispe Farfn, senior specialized prosecutor against organized crime in Lima – assigned to the office of the Second National Prosecutor Specialized against Organized Crime – as: National Coordinator of Prosecutors of Specialized against Organized Crime”, says the letter.

Likewise, Quispe Farfán will serve as Chief of the Office of Coordination and Liaison of Specialized Prosecutions for Illegal Drug Trafficking Crimes and coordinator of the National Prosecution Office, before the Narcotics Affairs Section (NAS) and the Control Department of Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) of the United States Embassy and other organizations involved in the fight against illegal drug trafficking and related crimes.

According to the legal device, Fany Quispe was appointed to the new role in addition to her duties as a senior specialized prosecutor against organized crime in Lima, appointed to the office of the Second National High Prosecutor Specialized against Organized Crime.

It is not the only change in the Public Ministry

The prosecution finalized the appointment of prosecutor Isabel Galván Calle as Head of the Office of Coordination and Liaison of Specialized Prosecutions for Illegal Drug Trafficking Crimes and as coordinator of the Office of the Nation’s Prosecution, before the Case Control Section (NAS) and DEA of The American Embassy and other organizations related to the fight against illegal drug trafficking and related crimes.

It is worth noting that the resolution emphasizes efforts must be joined and strategies strengthened explorative from these crimes that have high social sensitivity. This resolution bears the signature of the state prosecutor, Delia Espinoza.

In this way, The Public Ministry appointed Fany Quispe Farfn as the new national coordinator of the Specialized Prosecutors against Crime, in replacing prosecutor Jorge Chvez Cotrina.
