José Jerí issued a statement assuring that he had no participation in the events that the woman reported on December 30.
According to the complaint, the incident happened on December 29 at a social gathering in which the wife and the MP and other acquaintances participated.
The parliamentarian assured that the woman came to the meeting in the company of two people and denied being the author of the events reported in the complaint.
“I requested a license from the political party to which I belong to guarantee that this process is carried out with transparency and without external interference,” said Jerí. The facts are being investigated by the Public Ministry.
