“In the blink of an eye, our world changed forever when we lost Chris in a tragic car accident,” Chris Clifford’s family wrote on a GoFundMe page set up to help with his funeral expenses. “Chris was a man who cherished his family with unwavering love and embraced God’s teaching with a deep faith.”
Chris Clifford, who was a partner in a Dearborn dental practice, died Sept. 25 in a car accident after suffering a medical incident while driving.
Clifford, 41, was hit from behind while driving in Telegraph near Carlysle on Monday evening. He then had a medical “episode” and was pronounced dead soon after.
Chris and his wife Lindsey were married for 20 years, having met when she was 15 years old.
“We had plans to stay here, grow old together and have grandparents,” she told Fox2 News. “We were just talking about this a few weeks ago.”
Clifford is survived by Lindsey and five children.
“The broken. so sad. we loved him so much and he loved him so much,” Lindsey said.
Clifford, who was with Newman Family Dental in Dearborn, had a big sweet tooth, according to his wife.
She said their faith is what is helping the family get through this.
“He was a strong Christian. We know he is in heaven and that gives us hope,” she said. “We are very grateful for that.”
