President In Boluarte called on members of the justice administration system to seek consensus based on principles and policies that allow progress with a effective reform in justice.
“For my government, judicial reform is not only a technical objective, but it is also a commitment to democracy, the well-being of Peruvians and the right to have a judicial system accessible to all, without any discrimination,” he said.
Under this premise, the president confirmed that she “respects” the separation and independence of powers, as well as the work of autonomous institutions such as the National Board of Justice (JNJ).

“Independence is the basis for the responsible exercise of its functions, away from any external pressure or unnecessary external influence. In our actions and functions, no personal, group, ideological or party interest prevails, nor pacts or agreements under the table”, he said.
Dina Boluarte emphasized that her only interest and objective is “to generate well-being for more Peruvians and contribute to the strengthening of democracy, peace and harmonious coexistence in the country”.
In this context, he assured that the task of state institutions in 2025 is challenging and can be achieved with unity, dedication and purpose to serve the people.
“It will not only be the year of economic consolidation, but also of building a modern and reliable justice system, respected by all. We have a historic responsibility with the country: to make Peru a country with justice, with equality, with equality and with greater opportunities,” he said.

New JNJ installation
President Dina Boluarte participated in the swearing-in ceremony of the president of the National Board of Justice, for the period 2025, where she emphasized that it is an important institution for democracy, the judicial system, strengthening the rule of law and a guarantor of the quality of the justice service .
“Our commitment to the National Board of Justice has been strengthened today with the conviction that we must continue to work tirelessly for efficient, transparent and reliable justice, which gives clear and reliable answers to citizens, without exception.
The president of the Judiciary, Janet Tello, also participated in the ceremony; the prosecutor of the country, Delia Espinoza; the president of the Constitutional Court, Luz Pachecoand the president of the Council of Ministers, Gustavo Adrianzén, among other authorities.
The new Plenary Session of the JNJ will consist of the following regular members: Gino Ríos Patio, Francisco Távara Córdova, Jaime de la Puente Parodi, María Cabrera Vega, Víctor Chanduví Cornejo, Germán Serkovic González and Rafael Ruiz Hidalgo.
