Entrepreneurs, mother and daughter are references in the field of aesthetic dentistry

The Laura Helfer Clinic, managed by the mother and daughter duo, Laura and Isabel Helfer, is a reference in the field of aesthetic dentistry in Santa Cruz do Sul. On January 14, 2024, the professionals inaugurated a new facility, at Rua Humberto Schuster, number 175, in the Higienópolis neighborhood.

Inspired by her mother’s profession, Laura always dreamed of becoming a dentist. She observed the work of her mother, Isabel Helfer, and noticed the difference she made in the lives of her patients by being an excellent professional.

“My parents have always supported me a lot in all aspects of my studies. My mother practiced her profession in our old office, I left school and waited for her. It was then that I began to have my first contacts with the profession and with patients. So I thought that was incredible. And I just thought I wanted to be like that. I didn’t even know what it was, but I wanted to be the person she became and the importance she has in people’s lives, to make a difference in people’s lives,” said her daughter.

Deciding to follow her dream, Laura began her dentistry course at the University of Santa Cruz do Sul (Unisc). Always dedicated to further improving her skills, she completed specializations and advanced courses within her field and also in aesthetics.

In 2024, the mother-daughter duo decided to invest in a unique space to serve their customers in the best possible way. In addition to a modern and comfortable environment, where the patient can count on a place to rest in the middle of nature, the clinic also focuses on accessibility, with an elevator and modified rooms to suit everyone.

“That was really a point we raised a lot. Since the house has this slope, this height, our biggest concern was about access for patients. We took great care that when we moved here, everyone accompanied us comfortably, so we installed an accessible lift for patients, all our rooms have been modified and adapted for wheelchair users and the elderly”, he emphasized.

The clinic has six employees, committed to providing the best services to the Santa Cruz community. Among the services offered are orthodontics, smile aesthetics, general clinic and all the treatments a patient needs.
