HGF opens applications for scholarship programs

O Fortaleza General Hospital (HGF)equipment of Department of Health in Ceará (Sesa)opened a simplified selection process (PSS) to fill 25 vacancies of Complementary Specialized Programs (PCE) in Bar e Dentistry. The registration period for the selection process lasts until January 29, 2024.

There are vacancies for the specialties of Gastroenterology, Neurology, Dentistry, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Otorhinolaryngology, Radiology and Liver Transplant, Kidney Transplant and Urology. The selection process will have a single phase, divided into two moments: objective test and curriculum analysis, which will determine the final grade of each candidate. Registration must be done in person at Directorate of Teaching, Research and Residence from HGF (Rua Ávila Goulart, 900, Papicu neighborhood).

Prerequisites

Gastroenterology

Software: Inflammatory bowel diseases.
Prerequisites: Have completed the full load of the medical residency in Gastroenterology, recognized by the Ministry of Education (KKK) or are completing it by the date of enrollment in the courses.

Neurology

Software: Headache and orofacial pain; Neurodegenerative diseases; Neuroimmunological diseases; Neurovascular diseases.
Prerequisites: Have completed the full load of the medical residency in Neurology, recognized by the Ministry of Education (KKK) or are completing it by the date of enrollment in the courses.

Dentistry

Software: Orthognathic and TMJ Surgery.
Prerequisites: To have completed the full load of the residency course in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology, recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC) or have a specialist title registered by the Federal Council of Dentistry – CFO.

Ophthalmology

Software: Glaucoma; Pediatric ophthalmology; Retina and vitreous body; Clinical/Surgical Treatment in Orbital, Oculoplastic and Lacrimal Tracts.
Prerequisites: Have completed the full load of the medical residency course in Ophthalmology, recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC) or are completing it by the date of enrollment in the courses or have a specialist title issued by the Brazilian College of Ophthalmology – CBO .

Orthopedics

Software: Hip Surgery; Ankle and Foot Surgery.
Prerequisites: Have completed the full workload of the medical residency in Orthopedics/Traumatology, recognized by the Ministry of Education (MAK) or are completing it by the date of registration in the course and; Become a Full Member of the Brazilian Society of Orthopedics/Traumatology (Hip Surgery Only).

Otorhinolaryngology

Software: Endoscopic Endonasal and Skull Base Surgery; Laryngology of adults and children.
Prerequisites: Have completed the full load of the medical residency in Otorhinolaryngology, recognized by the Ministry of Education (KKK) or are completing it by the date of enrollment in the courses.

Radiology

Software: Head and neck diagnostic radiology and neuroradiology.
Prerequisites: Have completed the full load of the medical residency course in Radiology, recognized by the Ministry of Education (KKK) or are completing it by the date of enrollment in the courses.

Liver transplant

Program: Clinical liver transplantation.
Prerequisites: To have completed the full load of the medical residency course in Internal Medicine (3 years) or Gastroenterology.
Program: Surgical liver transplantation.
Prerequisites: Have completed the full load of the medical residency course in General Surgery (3 years), Digestive System Surgery or Vascular Surgery, recognized by the Ministry of Education (KKK) or have completed it by the date of enrollment in the courses.

Kidney transplant

Program: Clinical kidney transplantation.
Prerequisites: Have completed the full load of the medical residency course in Internal Medicine (3 years) or Nephrology or are completing it by the date of enrollment in the courses;
Program: Surgical kidney transplant.
Prerequisites: Have completed the full load of the medical residency course in General Surgery (3 years), Urology or Vascular Surgery, recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC) or have completed it by the date of enrollment in the courses.

Urology

Program: Minimally Invasive Surgery and Uro-Oncology.
Prerequisites: Have completed the full load of the medical residency in Urology, recognized by the Ministry of Education (KKK) or are completing it by the date of enrollment in the courses.
