According to the technical document “Rain risk scenarios for summer 2025”, prepared by Cenepred, the departments with the largest population exposed to very high risk due to mass movements are Cusco (355,362 inhabitants), Áncash (233,656), Cajamarca (228,978), Puno (203,790) and Huánuco (195,426).

Cenepred also indicated that 1,114,862 homes, 2,237 health institutions and 14,643 educational institutions would be in the same risk situation.
