Dental health is an important part of overall health and well-being. In a recently published survey of people with dental insurance, 90% of respondents reported being satisfied with their dental plan. Global Strategy Group (GSG) conducted the online survey on behalf of AHIP, focusing on dental insurance enrollees who visited a dentist, oral surgeon, orthodontist or other dental specialist in the past year.
Key survey findings include:
- Registrants continue to be satisfied (90%) with their dental insurance plans, run by easy access for providers and value vessel they offer.
- Registrants continue to have priority preventive care (90%) and are satisfied with their ability to quickly access local in-network dentists and specialists.
- Registrants remain extremely satisfied with affordability (87%) of their plans and believe that their plans help them maintain and maintain their oral health.

The survey was conducted from July 24 to July 27, 2023. GSG ensured that geographic and demographic divisions were adequately represented by survey respondents.
