Through an official statement, the Government has decided on the situation in Venezuela, after the complaints made by Maria Corina Machado and Edmundo González Urrutia, opponents of the regime Nicolas Maduro.
González Urrutia will denounce this Tuesday the “kidnapping” of his son-in-law Rafael Tudares in Caracaswhile Machado was droned over his mother’s home by “agents of the regime” of Maduro, who he also accused of having the country surrounded.
In this regard, the Government announced that the actions of the Chavista regime represent an insult to democratic values, therefore they requested the prohibition of these practices.
“These acts not only violate basic human rights, but also represent a direct attack on democratic values. The chancellor will travel to Panama
Meanwhile, the Foreign Ministry also announced that Foreign Minister Elmer Schialler will go to Panama on Wednesday, January 8, for a meeting on the defense of democracy in Venezuela, called by the Panamanian government.
