Relatives of a kidnapped dentist in El Banco, Magdalena, demand respect for his life

Juan Carlos Bayter Bustamante was kidnapped a few days ago outside his house, in the municipality of Bank, Magdalena, To this day, there is no clue as to its whereabouts or who may be holding it. The authorities have conducted an operation throughout the territory to find the perpetrators of this event that shocked the entire territory.

His father, doctor Alfonso Bayter, spoke to La W about what happened and He appealed to the High Commissioner for Peace so that you can personally review your case and locate your son.

“I am trying to communicate with everyone, with the Peace Commissioner, we are asking that since the peace talks are taking place, that this does not happen, that they talk. who do not respect only the life of my son, but the whole world, this is total impotencel”, said Alfonso Bayter.

The Bayter family is recognized for its work to benefit the health of Banqueños, “we have a family clinic“Our interest is that humble people do not mobilize, we are creating employment, economy, we are not harming anyone”, he said.

He assured that he does not understand why one of his relatives was kidnapped, considering the social work he has been doing for years in the territory. On the other hand, he stated that received no threats by groups outside the law or ordinary crime, so they do not understand what has happened.

“I leave my house alone, No one has threatened me, we are good people“, he affirmed.

Finally, he called on government entities to take action on the matter and mediate for the speedy release of his son.

It is worth remembering that the commander of the Magdalena Police, colonel Yorguin Malagonconfirmed the kidnapping of Banqueño dentist Juan Carlos Bayter Bustamante, when he was leaving his home on October 18, aboard his vehicle, which was found burned meters later in through which it communicates with the municipality of Chimchasqa, César.
