At a time when the Alliance for Progress (APP) is involved in a suspected prostitution ring in Congress, the technical secretary of the Office of the Mayor, Victor Hugo Neciosup, revealed that officials from the top management of the Parliament were welcomed in such positions at the home of Richard Acuña Núñez, leader of APP.
In last Wednesday’s Supervisory Commission hearing, Neciosup Santa Cruz admitted that he had visited the house of the son of César Acuña, owner of APP.
“Not only did I go, I received the invitation from all the officials who are part of the senior management, this… for this… we were invited, right? But they are details of a private meeting”, he said.
In the question
Based on this version, the president of the Audit Office, Juan Burgos (Podemos Peru), specifically asked him if what he stated was that personnel from the upper management of the Legislature went to the house of Acuña Núñez to receive a “welcome” in his positions.
“Eh… in your question, yes we have eh… present at the invitation of this… through the officer (major, Xovani Forno); It invites, let’s say, the part that follows and the two eastern… general directions have participated,” he answered.
On the other hand, Norma Yarrow (People’s Renewal) commented: “For a welcome, how lucky some were, for indeed a whole administrative factory was invited by a party leader to welcome them, led by senior officer, I think everyone will be able to draw their own conclusions.”
Indications
The Legal and Constitutional Office of the Congress was headed by Jorge Torres Saravia, next to APP.
