On the morning of this Friday, January 10, a car accident occurred in Panamericana Sur involving two trucks and a car. According to the witnesses, the vehicles were traveling at high speed on the said road, when suddenly one of the trucks suddenly braked. This caused other vehicles to collide with it and one of the trucks crushed the private car with the other truck.
The accident, which happened around 07:00, caused vehicular chaos at the height of Atocongo Bridge and Alipio Bridge.

After this accident in Panamericana Sur, three units of the General Fire Department arrived in the area to receive the emergency and rescue the injured who were inside the vehicle. Five people were injured in the accident
According to the authorities, five people were injured in the accident, among them the driver and the passengers of the vehicle that was crushed by the two trucks. No casualties have been reported so far.
“People helped rescue those in the crushed car. The men got out healthy,” a local merchant told Panamericana TV.
