Last Sunday, the Arcos bullring hosted its second festival to benefit the ‘For a Smile’ project, which aims to raise funds for boys, girls and young people affected by cancer. With these funds, in addition to other initiatives, vacations are provided for these people and their relatives, so that they can live together in an environment outside the hospital.
As far as the bullpen goes, the bullpen recorded a half inning, which is still positive given the untimely afternoon with the constant threat of rain. David Galván, on the right, with one of the bulls from El Torero ranch, received two ears and a tail; Daniel Crespo, with Santi Domecq’s cattle, was rewarded with a return to the ring, two ears and a tail; while Ruiz Muñoz, with a bull from Bohórquez, received two ears and a tail. Also Javier López Peregrino, with an animal from the farm of Fermín Bohórquez, achieved two ears and a tail; Aaron Palacio, with Fuente Ymbro, was worthy of a return to the ring; Arcense Miguel Osorio, with another by Fermín Bohórquez, two ears; and Antonio Santana, with Salvador Domecq’s signature bull, got two ears and a tail.
The company Arcense Ruedos del Sur once again provided the means for Arcenses to enjoy a new bullfighting show in its portable fairground, supporting a good cause in this sense. The event bar was run by the Tres Caídas brotherhood. Among the audience you could see figures from the world of bullfighting such as Paco Ojeda, El Tato, Currillo, Fermín Bohórquez, Santi Domecq, José Luis Galloso, Ruiz Miguel and other well-known fans and professionals of the sector whose presence enhanced this. an event that can be considered “an artistic success” according to the evaluation of the figures of bulls.
