Communist candidate Jeannette Jara repeated this Sunday triumph similar to the approval of 2020, imposing on all of Chile, while its main rival, Carolina Tohá (PPD), practically expired only in the eastern sector of the capital.
According to electoral service data, Jara won in 333 Chile municipalities. Tohá won only in Las Condes (64.02%), Queen (53.39%), Lo Barnechea (52.84%), Providencia (57.32%) and Vitacura (77.77%). From Santiago, he managed to win only in Putre (47.62%).
In the municipalities of the eastern sector of the metropolitan region, law usually triumphed in elections and are those that mainly group the sectors of the highest income and the country’s largest cultural capital. In 2020, the refusal managed to win only in Antarctica, Colchane, Las Condes, Lo Barnechea and Vitacura.
