UFMG opens the competition for Adjunct Professor in Pediatric Dentistry

A new announcement has just been published. or Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) launched through the Official Journal of the Union on June 2, announcement no. 1,292/2023 with the opening of the public competition that has a vacancy in the position of Docent Professor, in the area Pediatric Dentistry a for placement in the Department of Oral Health for Children and Adolescents at the Faculty of Dentistry.

Candidates who have a degree in dentistry and a doctorate in dentistry or a related field can participate in the competition. The salary offered is according to the MEC salary table and will be R$ 10,481.64 in a 40-hour work week.

The testimonies

This competition will consist of Written test eliminatory, Judgment of title e Commemorative argument. The tests will take place on a day, time and location to be announced by the University.

The written test will last a maximum of five hours, with the first hour dedicated to bibliographic consultation and the use of electronic tools for consultation and notes is not allowed.

The inauguration of the successful candidate will be in accordance with the limit of the competition set out in this notification, unless the extension of this limit is authorized by the competent body for this purpose.

The duties of the professor include activities relevant to research, teaching in higher education and extension aimed inseparably at learning, the production of knowledge, the extension and transmission of knowledge and culture, and the activities inherent in the exercise of direction, counselling, leadership, coordination. and assistance in the institution itself, in addition to others provided for in the current legislation.

The validity period of the competition will be six months and may be extended for an equal period.
