Rafael Puglisi‘famous dentist’, died at the age of 35 this monday, 18 years. The information was confirmed through the publication of a death certificate on the dentist’s networks. According to the post, Rafael died after hitting his head in a pool. or the death is being treated by police as suspicious.
Specialized in dentistry aesthetic, the professional was highly sought after by celebrities to perform the dental lens placement procedure. Lenses, fashionable among celebrities, are super thin ceramic dentures used to provide a “white, straight smile”.
Rafaeli showed photos alongside personalities such as Jade Picon, Juliet, Whindersson Nunes e Neymar. Names like Like Jessica, Adriane Galisteu, John Guilherme e Patricia Abravanel, used social media to mourn the dentist’s death. “Still in disbelief. Your story was beautiful, Rafa”, wrote Juliette in a story in Instagram.
Formed by Metropolitan United College (FMU), Rafael was part of the Guy Puglisi Institute (IGP), created by his family. He served as director of clinical and digital oral planning, in addition to teaching oral esthetics courses.
Rafael Puglisi died of “traumatic brain damage” in Barueri. According to the dentist’s Instagram post, he hit his head diving and arrived dead at the hospital.
“Rafa was a brother, son, nephew, great-nephew, uncle, cousin and great friend. He was a person with an easy smile who helped everyone around him, students, family and friends,” the post read.
The death, however, is being treated as “suspicious,” as reported by São Paulo Public Security Secretariat (SSP) THE Estadão. The police have requested analyzes to clarify the incident.
In police terms, “suspicious” is a death that has no apparent cause. If it is not clear whether the case is violent (murder or suicide) or a natural death, it is considered suspicious.
